I got to visit the KQV "Street Level" studios back in the heyday, around 1966. My mum and me walked into the lobby and I asked if I could have a tour, and the receptionist say OK! The only room we didn't vist was the main air studio, but I saw the news booth with the news tickers that you could here on the air, master control, and the back-up studio behind master control. Dave Scott was on the air, and he walked out of the air studio during the news and said hello.

I also visited WQEDs first facility at Fifth and Bellefield in Oakland. I saw Mr Rogers' set. I was amazed at how small and cramped the facilities were. They gave me a piece of two-inch video tape as a souvenir.
