According to Holtsie's link, John "The Spoon Man" Spooney, one of the fastest in Ivy history, ran his pro day 40s in a range of 4.49-4.50.

Thus one can see how any poster saying any Ivy high school recruit runs a 4.27 just makes that poster seem naive.

Maybe they are, as you suggest, just "naive". All this poster did was to "naively" link their post.

You continue to embarrass yourself. That list you posted of 48 players who ran sub-4.3 is comprised almost entirely of players who were *HAND TIMED*. If you confined the list to guys who were electronically timed at sub-4.3, that list would decrease in size by at least three-quarters.

I was hand timed by my coach at 4.6. And yet, almost inexplicably, no pro scouts ever took a look at me. Hmmm, how about that?

Hand timed results in high school mostly show how supportive your coach is of your recruiting efforts. Your coach *WANTS* you to do well so, consciously or subconsciously, his thumb follows what his brain hopes will happen. That's human nature, not blazing speed.

I said it before and, indeed, your post proves my point. No Ivy League player ever has run 4.27. Ever.

Not "hand-timed, either. And the time didn't come from "his coach"

You continue to embarrass yourself.

Of course it was hand-timed. If he ran an electronically timed 4.27, he would have the third fastest time in NFL history, behind Chris Johnson in 2008 (4.24) and Dri Archer in 2014 (4.26). I think that was reviewed the first time you claimed that a legitimate 4.27 recruit was headed to Harvard.

if you want to purport that the third fastest player in the history of the NFL combine is about to enroll at a college outside the national top 25, let alone outside the Power 5 conferences, let alone outside the FBS, let alone outside an FCS powerhouse, let alone an Ivy League school, that is your prerogative but, again, you continue to embarrass yourself.

If you're going to make those kind of claims, why not claim that Tommy Amaker is working for free, you know, as a humanitarian gesture on behalf of furthering Harvard basketball?

- maybe their top priority is a good education?

Being a punt returner in the NFL will most likely earn you a series of concussions.
