Darrion Carrington also committed. I know of at least 3 more that will be made official soon and they all have an impressive list of offers.

Darrion Carrington at Yale sounds like the grandson of Blake and Alexis.

Dudek is a beast. Ran nearly 3000 yards in 11 games. Glad we got him.

He looks like he can be a real plus for Yale's needed depth at RB. Unless Reno and his staff can solve the injury problem Mr. Dudek may find himself the starter at some point next season.

If Grinde comes back Yale will have sufficient depth at running back. If not it will be dicey.

Even if Rich does return four RB's is not enough. See both 2015 and 2016 when Rich and Salter both got hurt and were out at the same time for extended periods. In 2015 Harris was also unavailable for the Penn and Columbia games forcing them to rely on their third string RB who was a converted receiver. That's the main reason they lost both of those games.

I would like to see at least four quality RB's on Yale's roster with Yale's history of injuries. Preferably five. That averages only around one running back per recruiting class.

Spreading the carries out amongst many backs will limit the risk of injury. Lamar took a pounding last year and he's not that big. I worry about his long term durability unless the carries are shared amongst several backs.

Other than Spencer, are there any other medical red shirts? Chandler?

I think Oluokon is eligible for a medical red shirt. Yale should have a formidable defense if he returns.

If the players who are qualified to return as medical red shirts choose to do so, it would be a good sign in terms of their desire to stay with the program another year and might dispel some of the comments of posters who have said that Reno has lost the team. On the other hand if none of these players choose to return there will undoubtedly be conversations on this board concerning its implications. To be fair though there would have to be confirmation of which seniors truly have this type of eligibility and of course those wall street jobs may be too alluring to stick around without a merit scholarship.

Rymiszewski, Oluokun, and Sykes are returning for a fifth. Perhaps Gaines as well. Rich is moving on to Wall St. Too many significant injuries from what I hear. Pretty sure those are the only five eligible or who have at least considered it.

T. Vissman was all conference in his jr. year in the tough WPIAL. I think he was injured for half if his sr. year. I hope he will be healthy. Z. Dudek had phenomenal stats last year and this (42 TDs) and if you follow stories from the link above, some experienced football people in WPA say he is the best football player from his region - ever. They should both be capable RBs at Yale from day 1, unless they get injured....

Actually, each are excellent at both positions. The artcle from the Pittsburgh Post Gagette said that Dudek called the defenses for the team. It referred to him as a football "savant."

A not-too-aware member of my club was punked by Cohen in Borat. Not sure if it made the final cut.
