Curious to see what clever ideas Dartmouth and Brown come up with for planned alumni events near Fenway or in the Boston area to try entice additional alumni to come for the game and/or reunion events. Since a ton of Dartmouth and Brown alums live in the Boston area, this could bring out new alums to this Fenway football weekend. The bars by Fenway are loved by Millennials. I know from experience, that many of the alums will have so much fun during their “pre-game activities” that they may miss part of all of the game.

The idea of a Boston/Fenway themed end zone seems most likely. Maybe something like "Fenway Football". Very unlikely it will say Boston College. UConn is in fact the home team for that game (like Notre Dame was in the Shamrock Series game in 2015). UConn is guaranteed more seats (and over $1M in ticket revenue), but BCs numbers may be bigger in the end.

Definitely a chance for Brown and Dartmough alums/fans to gather in Boston

Other interesting aspect- Brown and Dartmouth will likely be on the same side of the field. This video shows how it was used for the Notre Dame - BC game.

That video shows a LOT of work to make the field football ready. Can they really recoup that from revenue for an ivy game?

I am very impressed that the Fenway grounds crew puts down new grass (or FieldTurf) to cover up the infield dirt. I can't think of any other stadium which does that.

Did everybody notice the reference to Dartmouth shutting out Syracuse at Fenway?

I read another article about the triple header in Fenway. It turns out that UConn is the nominal home team for the headliner "main event" game because it was the Huskies, not the BC Eagles, who gave up the home game.

So it's a win-win for BC. The Eagles give up an away game in return for a de facto home game in an iconic stadium with their own ticket allocation and a likely "home" crowd.
