The $150K donation to the College of Business is a huge plus for Cornell as every year the university has more demand from students for business programs. Obviously we all went to Cornell for academics and not athletics. Unfortunately when I return to campus it's usually for an athletic event and we usually go home the losers. Oh well at least the tailgating is good.

Yes- I played football but chose Cornell not only for the academics, but for the "family' feel of the team and a diverse undergrad population in the early 80's! That wasn't as evident at the other Ivy's sans Penn and Columbia. We need to get back to not going home as "losers"- the University should strive to be as successful and top notch in the athletic program as they do on the academic side!
