Andy Noel wants to build an indoor practice facility and had the backing of former president Beth Garrett. Unfortunately that project probably went down the drain with her passing, as she was an advocate for athletics. Renting a bubble for a few winter seasons would be affordable and bridge the gap until we can build a permanent facility.

They have a sizable pledge from a donor toward the cost of permanent indoor facility once they receive the authorization from the new President.

Anticipated total construction cost is $10 Million
Requires resurfacing soccer field, installation of anchors, new drainage, installation of HVAC unit for inflation/heating

Annual operating costs estimated at $500,000
Includes annual inflation/deflation/storage
Structure maintenance and snow removal

Very interesting. That is EXPENSIVE. Ten million dollars is roughly equivalent to the cost of a low end (that is, not fully tricked out) permanent building of that size. I've got to believe that, if you've got the land, a building is the better way to go.
