In reply to: Observer 's message, "Alabama calls itself "the Harvard of College Football"" on 16:52:30 02/16/17 Thu

Surprising you would finally admit the reality of Harvard's admission standards.

Their dream is to beat the "Alabama of Ivy Football" once every 15-20 years?

Still salty over losing that championship, I see.

3-7 Yale hardly won a "championship" except in their own mind - thanks to their once-in-ten-years win over Harvard! We're hardly "salty" - as you so quaintly put it, but rather amused to see all the bulldogs who've been shouting "fire the coach" for several years call for giving the guy a new, lifetime contract with the hope that he can repeat his "triumph" again some time! Good luck!

"Sure sounds like people think that Reno was the first choice.

Not on my planet. Just sounds like the eventual choice was a poor one. You may not realize this, but lots of second and third choices work out well."

And right now, insofar as that quote is concerned.

Big 0, do you even HAVE an (attempted) point you are trying to make (other than to deflect from the fact that you absented yourself for weeks following Harvard's major upset loss)?

But the good news is that Trump loves people who are skilled in delivering fake news, so you always have a landing spot.

I've switched to basketball for the season, and this site doesn't have much to offer, basketball-wise. Believe me, I am not "salty" about a once-a-decade loss to the bulldog footballers. You don't see me calling for "firing the coach" do you?

Alabama is saying that they're the best college football team in the nation, just as Harvard is the best college academically.

Alabama, once again, has landed the top recruiting class in the nation.

Before this year, Clemson hadn't beaten Alabama in more than 100 years, and, who knows, it may be another hundred years before the beat 'em again.
