Understand that Herb Brooks arena is an olympic sized rink. Such a rink (200 x 100) is 13 feet wider than Harvard's home rink (204 x 87), but I believe 4 feet shorter. Cornell's Lynah Rink is only 200 x 85.

I believe that Harvard is a strong skating team. This could provide Harvard an advantage. I've heard that it may have helped Harvard against Quinnipiac last night.

This season the Frozen Four is being played at the United Center in Chicago. NHL rinks are 200 x 85. Could favor the bigger, stronger teams like Minnesota Duluth.

We watched the Harvard vs Cornell game last evening. Cornell had a good tournament but the Crimson offensive power was just too much for the Big Red. Glad we got a bid to the NCAA's. Best of luck to both teams.
