Despite my recent criticisms, the coaching staff are obviously good recruiters and offensive game tacticians. Where Cornell has been struggling is on defense and face-offs. When you lose 24-6 in face offs and still win the game, that's impressive, but you still need to win those face-offs. One of my relatives is a former college lacrosse player and he said the best face-off guys are wrestlers who can get low and have quick wrists. Face-off specialists have become a really key position today in college lacrosse.

Saw a clip recently pretty much agreeing with the faceoff man theory. Denver's face off guy is built like a truck. Same with Albany. I'm sure others are doing it similar or at least seeing the need for it.
