In the long run, Dartmouth would be a better fit for him as a student athlete since it is rare that walk-ons get playing time at schools like UNC and Dartmouth is a much better school academically. The exception is if he plans to go into coaching like his brother. In that case, he would be better gaining firsthand coaching insights from Coach Williams and learning the more complex offensive and defensive schemes of the teams on the Tar Heels schedule.

My understanding is that walk-ons who contribute at the UNCs, Dukes, Kentuckys, etc. had some pretty decent scholarship offers elsewhere, but wanted to try themselves with the best.

I know that Miller is tall, but he didn't have those type of credentials. I'll be shocked if he sees any meaningful minutes for the Tar Heels.

Oh well...

The North Carolina Chancellor and CEO is Carol Folt, Dartmouth's former Provost and Interim President. Folt was passed over for Dartmouth's Presidency in favor of the current numb-nut, Hanlon, who is running Dartmouth into the ground. Hanlon is rumored to be a huge basketball fan.

"Revenge is a dish best eaten cold."

"Revenge is a dish which people of taste prefer to eat cold"(from famed Ealing Studios movie 'Kind Hearts and Coronets').

So Hanlon has taste, eh?

"Tasteless" more aptly describes Hanlon.

Beginning in the 1980's, successive processions of chumps have governed Dartmouth.

In the current vernacular: "Sad!"

I agree GG, he was unranked on all the recruiting services and his only other recruiting visit was to Bucknell in the Patriot League. He will spend more time holding a clipboard or running scout team plays than actual playing time he may get at the last minute of blowout games.
