North/South is always safe. "Snowflake" and "Safe Space" could also work.

Tie-Breakers could include "Most Campus Statuary Removed" and "Most Speakers Barred From Campus".

Seriously, what do you think? Two-way or three-way ties in an eight team league are a bit tedious.

Well, they are in keeping with "Participation Trophy" mentality.

I don't particularly like it, but as long as we don't send a winner to any further competition, does it matter?

You still have the issue of attitudes about superseding The Game. If you could overcome that, there wouldn't be an obstacle to sending a team to the NCAAs, in which case a championship game would not be needed because you follow the same tie-breaking procedures adopted for other sports.
