Or you could look at it as the Ivy League could also play competitively against Central Michigan, Cal Poly, Villanova and UConn. Yale's 2013 victory over ranked Cal Poly and Penn's 2015 victory over top 5 ranked Villanova indicate that's the case.

That is why the early OOC schedule is so unpredictable.
Having two full games is a huge advantage, especially for freshmen who are not used to the speed, size, and pace (timeouts) of the college game.
