In reply to: Bengal 's message, "Princeton scheduling" on 21:15:50 09/04/17 Mon

So Yale and Harvard will now alternate years when they play both of the other and Princeton away or home?

WTH?

Apparently the only football traditions left in the league are the H-Y game ending their seasons and no post-season games for any team.

Princetonians are finally figuring out that their triangular "rivalry" with H-Y is in their minds only. H-Y is the only football game that matters in Cambridge and New Haven.

Similar, Penn likes to think that their P-P rivalry in hoops extends to football (remember Keith Elias, etc.), but in actuality, those in Central Jersey aspire to beat H-Y first and foremost.

Cornell thinks that they still have a thing with Penn. Philadelphia thinks otherwise.

Columbia alums seem to believe that the Hamilton-Burr duel still holds prologue to games vs. Princeton... but Lions/Tigers isn't a rivalry on the west side of the Hudson.

Same stuff goes for Green vs. Tigers and Bears vs Dogs. One school cares, the other, not so much.

Yale still has one home and one away each year.
But, Princeton and Harvard will now each host both Big Three games in the same year, or travel to both.
