Has a nice story in today's paper on Josh as expected starter. He ahs signed a two year deal for 4.3 million. I would attach it if I knew how.

first you need to "muddle" an orange peel with a few dashes of bitters and some simple syrup
Add a splash of soda
fill rocks glass with ice
then add whiskey and garnish with orange slice

The only person I know that still drinks one is believe or not my son but he uses bourbon

Ask me how to make an Irish Nail

Martin had a pretty good game. Three TFL and half a sack. He looked effective off the edge.

Thanks for that, was wondering how Martin did. Hope he has a great season for his sake and good pub for the Lions.

Is an Irish Nail similar to my favorite. the Rusty Nail, which is half single malt scotch and half Drambuie? Not sure how Irish Whiskey would mix with Drambuie.

Funny you should mention a Rusty Nail. About 10 years ago I took a bartending class on a whim. I wanted to learn the art of mixology.

So things are progressing on the first day and we are given a sample menu of drinks to make. It had all the old fashioned ones and the kids in the class (I was the oldest one there, everyone else was in their 20s and 30's), were laughing, "what the hell is a rusty nail?"

No it is Irish whiskey with Irish Mist. It might be pretty hard to find these days been, it has been a long time since I looked

A real Rusty nail is more like 2 to 1 rather than half and half scotch to Drambuie. Great drink but I haven't had one in probably 35 yrs. Try the Irish Nail it is different but still tasty

Now I am going to have to look for both and try my old recipes

Single malt does not deserve bastardization.

couldn't agree more especially in an after dinner drink when you have probably already had a few

so have you made your reservations for Pton/D game in Hanover yet? If not you could stay with me in my Stratton condo. As a matter of fact since it's on the market (for 2 yrs) I will give you a special ivy Sports Board Discount
