Tony Reno calling the Oak/TEnn game with Jim Nantz sux. He sounds like a 13 yr old going thru puberty, a high pitched squeaky voice. Bring back Phil Simms

I used to work with a former all-Ivy football player from Brown. He had a cup of coffee with the Dallas Cowboys and then began a very successful business career. He kept in shape and was an imposing physical presence -- right up until he opened his mouth to talk.

He had the voice of Mickey Mouse. Odd to hear such high pitched sounds coming from such a large man.

my posts more carefully

I have been calling Reno Romo all year, so it makes sense that I call Romo Reno

Barrier Island held up pretty well all though not much power but I did hear my old stomping grounds of Sea Forest got it back hoping The Bay is next. We will see

I am up here

I made my wife and her sister go down to evac parents bc they are so stubborn and refuse help even though they are in their early 90's. I told them you need to deal it. I have been browbeating them for 3 yrs but they have let parents get away with it. So after this hopefully things will change

Sad but true maybe this will be the last straw

Matthew Stafford was money, and more Week One observations

"Tony Romo was my announcer of the day. I was thoroughly impressed with Romo in his broadcasting debut. He calls the game like the quarterback he was, identifying aspects of the defensive alignment and telling viewers what the quarterback is looking for. I loved seeing him circle a Titans defensive back and hearing him explain that that was who Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was keying on as he scanned the field — all before the ball was snapped. CBS took a chance on making Romo, who had never worked in broadcasting, its No. 1 analyst. But it appears that risk is going to pay off."
