It has to happen soon. It cannot remain as is. The issue is what positions.
Somehow it must relate to offense. Stay tuned because if it occurs the search has to involve coaches with big time experience and pizzaz in productive recruiting areas.
Estes will be on the spot only for who he brings in.

No offense to supporters of Bruno, but let's be realistic -
why would an assistant with big time experience and pizzazz, to borrow your phrasing, want to coach at Brown?

There are coordinators at many levels who could fill this role being a step up. Would you take a candidate from Mary Hardin Baylor or Slippery Rock who is skilled and can recruit and does a super x and o interview. Would you see what an Andy Talley might know about people who are ready. He is one guy who knows the field. Brown and the IvoryLeague is appetizing- penn has had two minimum guys of quality. Estes is a solid coach to work with. This could be a damn good move. Brown has fiscal capacity among Alums who will help the financing.
If Brown is serious it can happens,

Both Chip Kelly and Dan Mullen coached at Columbia in the late 80's early 90's. Being an assistant at an Ivy school should not be seen as detrimental in moving up the coach food chain

Not to be pedantic, but 'big time experience' was what struck me, and doesn't really align to what you've said in your reply.

I saw today that Brown has posted a job listing for OC/QB coach. http://ncaamarket.ncaa.org/jobs/10574235/assistant-coach-football-offensive-coordinator-quarterbacks

Have there been any announcements yet on staff changes? The current staff lists an assistant as QB coach (Parsons) and another as OC/OL (Sheehan).

Big time experience is not what Brown needs. They need someone like James Perry before James Perry went to Princeton. Someone who recruits can relate to, who has new ideas, who is creative, who isn't afraid to take risks, someone who has his career in front of him. While this year was a disaster, the collapse was in the works for at least 5 years. In the early part of the millennium Estes made his living on the spread offense. It attracted top players. Brown quarterbacks and receivers were consistently setting records. But now? Now they can't even complete a pass of more than 10 yards. And I have to ask this question, why is Sheehan still there? The Brown Oline has been a disappointment for years. Get rid of him!!!

Suspect you may be on to something- rumors are both Sheehan and Parsons and perhaps others are history-
As to big time that is not necessary Alabama etc. Includes staff on defined winners at other levels with proven attraction. Talley came from St. Lawrence, Al Bagnoli from Union.
By big time was referencing recognized accomplishment at any level.

Staff changes have been made, I hope there is more than just staff changes being made.
