Throwing this out there in case people want to get on the record before 5:00 PM kickoff:

I think Oklahoma is the least likely of the four teams to win it all. Defense still wins championships and Sooners are the outlier here.

I would take Clemson plus the 3 points against Alabama, but of course nobody would be surprised to see Crimson Tide win. It's interesting that the team which was almost left out of the field in favor of Ohio State would probably be favored against other three who were easy calls for inclusion.

I think the winner of Clemson-Alabama game will win the championship game.

I pick Georgia and Clemson to win today with Georgia winning the championship game next week.

OU pretty much carving up Georgia 31-14 at the half. Bulldog defense being overwhelmed, trouble filling holes and tackling, and usually a step behind innovative OU offense. Not seeing how Georgia can fix this in second half.

Make that 31-17, did not account for OU foolishness on kickoff.

That idiotic onside kick cost OU the game. How pathetic is that?

I am pulling for Georgia, but Mayfield is quite the QB. I really like how both teams run their offense with a nice blend of running and passing. Very good college football game.

Sprint, I thought of you and expected that you were smiling when Kirk Herbstreit said about the Oklahoma defense, "The Sooners are built for defending against the spread offenses that they face in the Big XII. They are built for defending the periphery of the field. They're not used to an offense like Georgia running downhill." Hope that you heard it.

What a day.

Best game of the bowl season: Georgia-Oklahoma. Wow.

Best story of the 2017 season: UCF and miracle worker Scott Frost. Take the amazing turnarounds engineered this season by Tony Reno and Al Bagnoli, add them together, then increase by 10% and you've got what Scott Frost has done. Hats off to him. And now he rides off to rescue his alma mater. It doesn't get better than that.

Observer.....yes Oklahoma was good at defending the spread, but instead Georgia ran right at them over 300 yards often using an extra tight-end or fullback to block. Great game by both teams passing and running the ball. That was a fun game to watch rather than spread all the time 5 to 10 yard passes same play over and over again. Alabama looked dominating over Clemson, so the Crimson probably has the upper hand next week.
