Hi Walt
Take a look at the Yale Roster. There are 13 offensive linemen returning.

Strother and Eiselen are back. Jack Lee was starting last spring if I remember correctly. Warfield was solid when Bezney went down. Tribble and Cepalia also got starts last year, so the O line should be pretty solid.

In this recruiting class, Nick Gargiulo and Cubby Schuller might have potential to play O line if they are needed there.

Agreed the OLine has a lot of depth with Lee coming back and Warfield, Tribble, and Cepalia. We also have Jett Sexton who saw time last year. With Strother being able to play all five position's we have a lot of flexiblity should the injury bug unfortunately hit.

Yes, the line may have depth for next year, but recruiting has to be done with four-years-from-now in mind. One year of thin recruiting can be overlooked, but it had better be followed up with a strong class the next year.
D-Line, too. Princeton seems to be eating the League's lunch when it comes to the trenches.

Not having a OLine Coach formally in place had to hurt the final push for Offensive Lineman in this recruiting class. We have enough talented young lineman to support a lean year but I am in agreement we need a strong 2019 to keep the trenches in good shape.

Agree 100% on both points. Do you think a team can attract a top QB without a OC or QB coach? Same thing goes for an OL recruit not being able to meet and evaluate the coach they will be spending the most time with during the season.

If we can retain the new OL coach for several years, the OL can continue to be a position of strength for Yale. If he leaves after a year, then not so much.

Tyler Jost a highly recruited 3 star didn't see much action last year as a freshman but should also be in the mix at some point.

OL was excellent last year. This coming season besides losing seniors we also lost Conlin.

If Yale doesn't have offensive linemen, then they are going to need all QBs to be ready to go at a moment's notice.
