Matt McElroy New Milford, NJ 6-3 225 LB/TE

1st Team All Bergen County and 1st team Group 1 All State as LB'er. May have been recruited as a TE as we had only one TE in the class to date. Had planned to walk on at Rice until Penn offered late. Other offers were URI, Brown and Stetson.

Trevor Radesovich - his brother is a two year starter at Princeton and was 2nd team All Ivy as a soph so I hope the genes hold up. Trevor was 1st Team All Shore and 1st Team All State (NJ.com) but had limited college offers. The only thing I saw online was a scholarship offer from Colgate. Penn offered very late. The lack of a number of offers probably indicates he has some work to do on either speed or technique in order to excel at the next level. Normally kids who stand out in NJ get noticed by a number of colleges, but I don't know what the deal is here.

******* Two sport recruit who may show up on lacrosse recruiting list. Has indicated intention to play both sports but we’ll see. I believe his decision to shift his commitment from Loyola to Penn was heavily influenced by the opportunity to play both sports at Penn. Currently ranked as the #18 best lacrosse recruit in the nation.
