This was certainly a year that anyone that makes it to the final 4 can win the Ivy. Penn looked good against Princeton, yet struggles with Dartmouth. Harvard looked good last night, but struggled twice with Dartmouth. As they say, you are what your record says you are. I don't know what's more surprising, that Dartmouth is close to all these games and not getting blown out or that Dartmouth hasn't won a game yet?
Something has to give. Either they will break thru with some nice wins or the team gives up and the 20 point losses are on its way.

Agree with your game description. We had a four point lead with about four minutes to go but did not score in those last four minutes until Johnson’s three pointer with 10 seconds left. Wrong time to go for a cup of coffee.

Emery had a fine game, perhaps his best yet. Rai rebounded and defended well. Jackson had 2 fouls early and only played 13 minutes. Big mistake keeping Jackson on the bench, Knight’s shooting touch disappeared. Barry missed a wide open layup and Penn successfully pressured him. Wright had a good game doing what he does.

Dartmouth has come a long, long way. McLaughlin and the players deserve great credit for that. Way too early to give up on the coaching staff or the team. They’ve proven they can play with any team in the League. Seven games left, five at home. Just win baby!!!

The good news is we are at home for the next three games. That should help. You are what your record say you are however. Losing by a little is still losing and the teams just aren’t that good this year in Ivy play. I love your optimism and am hoping we break through. This is bad basketball though. Poor shooting and mixed defense where people blow through for layups. Penn missed layups with little pressure on them. The ivy teams are playing Barry much tighter which seems to disrupt our flow. No adjustment has been made which I find surprising. Same issue as last year. McLaufhlin sticks to a formula whether it works or not and doesn’t seem to adjust. Emery played well yet McLaughlin subs him out. I don’t think he was tired. Knight had a tough game and just couldn’t shoot. Adrease was limited in playing time due to fouls . Johnson did what he does as 2 guard trying to create shots and Wright scored but wasn’t the impact player on defense he can be with effort. Just feels like yes they are playing hard but maybe not smart with the right combinations, defensive sets and offensive plays. We go dry for long stretches in these games which would speak to having some set plays to ru. To take apart a teams weakness.
