More data per ESPN: LeBron James draws a foul on 11% of his drives to the basket at home, draws a foul on 4% of his drives to the basket on the road.

As advised by Kipling.

Thank you, that was terrific. Particularly apt was that part of the article which stated:

“Above all else, Diogenes humanizes otherwise Olympian thinkers.”

Blessed as it is with both actual and putative Olympian thinkers, I am grateful that the Ivy League Sports Board provides so many humanizing opportunities.

Seriously, thanks for passing that along. I always enjoy your posts. This board is both informative and fun—two things which are these days in short supply both in the Ivy League and our country.

I was thinking about the sardonic Greek contrarian who lived in a tub, told captors he was good at ruling over men, and asked Alexander the Great to move out of the way since he was blocking the sun.

I suspect you didn’t miss that part of the article, you just wanted to see what I’d do with it. I’ve never lived in a tub, never been captured and am much taller than was Alexander the Great. Cheers!

I recommend the 2nd book in that article, "The Practicing Stoic", for any Brown fan.

J.R. Smith forgets the score with 4 seconds left when the game is on the line on the road.

But not at home.
