I would like to see the Holy Cross vs Harvard game myself. Coach Chesney has been working diligently to change the culture there. It's not a matter of win or loss, just want to see the mind-set of the team.

btw
Thanks for the football post, it was getting really boring around here.

Most of the time, it takes a year for a new coach to get things going "his" way. Some of the senior holdovers are used to doing things and may not be receptive to the new guy.

Coach Chesney is well-regarded. But I'd be surprised if Holy Cross is tough this season. Next season and beyond--sure.

Holy Cross is going to be putting that "you get better by scheduling up" theory (repeatedly disproved by Dartmouth in the 2000s) to test.

Yale and Dartmouth are the Crusaders' "easy" OOC games. They also play BC and UNH.

Good luck to them!

Holy Cross hired a good coach and they will hold their own against the tough new OOC opponents they have scheduled in the future. However, this year will be a rebuilding year for them. I doubt that they will win a single OOC game this year.
