Sloppy game
D missed two FGs
HC throws two INTs
Dartmouth dominating TOP 11 min to 4 min

D has a big OL/DL size advantage on most teams

Dartmouth D looks very good.

Holy Cross had ZERO first downs in the first half

Swann has THREE INTS for Dartmouth

D Offense looks okay but still struggling on third downs

But HC was down 21-0 to Yale andcame back to win

So don’t go anywhere

Must have happened when I was dealing with my kids. :)

I imagine that getting Gerbino back will help improve our third-down conversions.

Hopefully he will be able to play next week.

Isiah Swann has two interceptions already. One more will tie the Ivy record held by (among others) Dean Cain.

I agree that Dartmouth probably should be winning by more. We're basically doing to HC what we did to Georgetown last week.

That being said, HC has come back from big leads before. I'm sure Teevens will pound that into the guys at halftime.

27-0 after three quarters

Still no Holy Cross first downs

Dartmouth defense looks good
but Holy Cross offense did not show up.

Green defense ahead of offense at this point in the season.

Saying that our defense is better than our offense is like saying Miss America is better looking than whoever took twentieth place.

I mean, we got more points against HC than Yale did.

Go Green, don't you know that Miss America is, formally and by their own description, no longer a beauty pageant?

No more swimsuit competition. Please ignore the fact that the contestants are hot.

If HC is the measuring stick, Dartmouth matches up well against Yale.

I imagine that Teevens will put the scrubs in soon.

Maybe Holy Cross will get a first down then.

I can recall several games in the early 1990s where we had a big lead going into the fourth and lost some intensity because we just wanted to get it over with.

Kudos for HC for still playing hard. But I, for one, am very pleased with Dartmouth's performance today.

Watching TV, by my count, there weren't more than 45-50 people sitting the Dartmouth side of the field.

Completely wrong

There were about 1,000 Dartmouth fans there today

And by the way Dartmouth did not lose intensity. When they scored,it was Dartmouth 2s against Holy Cross 1s

Nobody but the players' parents ... and most of them seem to have skipped also.

If that's the only thing you got against Dartmouth's performance yesterday--that our fans didn't travel well enough--I can live with that.

Again, if you're concerned about Ivy attendance, I suggest you direct your attentions to Philadelphia.

Ivy attendance is hurting generally. A matter of demographics.

Not sure what your tv showed but you are not close to correct

Enthusiastic D crowd of about 1,000

Believe what you want—I’m not wasting any more time on this issue

Dartmouth has a very strong road reputation—especially given it is the smallest s hook in the Ivies

I was at the Penn-Lehigh game and there could not have been more than 3,000 fannies in the seats. Any "announcement" of attendance around 4,400 is grossly inflated and probably included, players, coaches, officials, concession stand employees, etc. I would bet Lehigh had more in the stands than Penn, as well.

Nobody has more explaining to do for declining attendance than Penn.

Official Attendance: 9,309 ... which seemed legit
Pretty good for a Friday Night
Kudos to Brown AD for promoting the game
Tailgate area was packed, beer & booze was flowing
Good student turnout.
