This game started out like it was going to be a blow out. Columbia seemed to act at some point like the win was in the bag and started to play with a noticeable lack of intensity. The passing game was very inconsistent with Davis, who threw three picks and seemed to telegraph his throws. The run defense was very good, the pass defense less so. Granted we have played two games on the road but we are going to have to do better by a long shot next Friday.

Gusty win for Columbia. Some sloppy playing, to be sure, but a win is a win, no matter what. Good teams win when the clock stops. Columbia was in disarray towards the end, but they held it together and got the big sack when they needed it. Dante Miller is showing he has some real potential to be a strong back. Davis has a good arm, but needs more consistency with three interceptions (though one was tipped in the air). Ronald Smith came up big when they needed him. And kicking game is still perfect. Bottom line CU was up 23-0 in the fourth, so did not give their opponent enough room to pull it out. Georgetown may not be a strong team, but they have a good QB and they were pumped for homecoming. Give CU Credit for their sixth win in the road ON THE ROAD, and overcoming being rattled from early season injuries. On to the next game!

Not sure if you saw the end of the game but the Hoyas could have tied it up. Columbia is going to have a tough time next weekend. Rose looks like a good runner. We are going to have a tough season. Dillon Davis looked good. When you throw the ball a lot you are going to have interceptions. Something needs to get moving with this team.
