In reply to: Tiger81 's message, "Princeton Questions" on 10:49:03 09/30/18 Sun

As usual excellent analysis by Tiger81

It appears that the season is backloaded and the first 4 games will provide a lot of highlights but no strong tests.

Browns dismantling of Georgetown suggest that the Hoyas are awful and that the much imporved Brunos may provide a good test for the "Homecoming" game.

If Kurt Holuba, Matt Hampson and Ed Rudinski are or are not coming back there is certainly no strategic reason for Surace to say anything about it.

I will interesting to see if they are walking the sidelines with braces or casts this Saturday against Lehigh.

Dartmouth looked real good against Penn and I have a sneaking suspicion that Yale is going to have a tough time with them Friday night.

Actually, the most telling Princeton stat so far, even with platoons of subs playing the entire fourth quarter of all three games, is: six penalties total in three games. That leads the FCS.

Of course, if you prefer glitz, I just realized Lovett is now responsible for 58 touchdowns in his 21 career games to date.

...is responsible for 8 TD’s in his 3 career games to date. Projecting out to Lovett’s 21 games would give Kyler credit for 56 scores. So, Dartmouth has a QB generating scores at essentially the same rate as Princeton’s Lovett. Plus, Kyler gets nothing but love from Dartmouth’s defense; Lovett’s experience with Dartmouth’s defense in Week #8 will be horrifically different.
