Agree with Ivy wanna be--could tweak a score or two, but I think he's got it right. Pivotal contest is Y-D, and there I think artful dodger Kurt Rawlings will negate fierce Dartmouth pass rush, as will the unfamiliarity of playing on Yale Bowl surface, worst pitch since "Sands of Iwo Jima," difference being Big Green not USMC!

...as "fierce" in the "Katie-bar-the-door-because-Dartmouth's-throwing-everything-but-the-kitchen-sink-at-us-on pass-plays" sense. So far there's been minimal blitzing, but Dartmouth's D-line still mounts a strong, penetrating rush whether in a 3- or 4-man front. There's no crazy blitzing schemes (so far) where Dartmouth puts its secondary at risk. As Penn HC Ray Priore remarked after the game, Dartmouth's brilliant DC, Don Dobes has his defense play in a "very, very patient" manner. Should Yale's "artful dodger", Kurt Rawlings, escape Dartmouth's initial rush he will have 3-4 defenders meet him, not downfield, but at the line of scrimmage.

Cornell over Harvard- Sprint66 deserves this

URI over Brown- just like Harvard

Columbia bounces back over Marist- like their freshman tailback

It is currently pouring in southern CT which should make the wonderful quagmire known as the Yale Bowl even worse. It is a pivotal game and most likely my beautiful daughter just back from PSU's heartbreaking loss Sat night against the other evil empire probably is going to accompany me. So I refuse to have her suffer another crushing loss and thus Yale becomes much like Ivy Wanna Be an Ivy Wanna Be this year

Who cares about the other games other than go Big Red send the 10,000 men to another crushing loss and into obscurity or back to whatever evil world they came from

Dartmouth squeaks by Yale - Game of the week!
Princeton steamrolls the Lehigh Engineers
Penn beats SHU
Cornell vs. Harvard - too close to call.
URI gets by Brown
Columbia knocks off Marist

Dartmouth and Yale are playing on nationally televised ESPNU. Time to hype the game and get a big crowd for this important Ivy League match-up.

Dartmouth will decisively win the battle in BOTH trenches. Win both battles and good things happen for your team all over the field.

Spoiler alert: Dartmouth by 20.

Assuming this is really Jack Hatfield, his line should keep going up after the keg is opened.

Funny we haven't heard GG complain about a single screen name for GOBB.

...because well, you know, we don’t have bladders in which to “hold it in”. The upside is I NEVER have to visit the decrepit facilities at the Yale Bowl.

The forum administrator has informed me that this “Jack” you speak of has permanently departed, never to return to this precinct. A shame because he was a sweet soul and occasionally enjoyed beer, but not nearly as much as this Yalie:

Cal, care to offer your line on this Friday’s game or are you more comfortable not being in the arena, remaining with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor betting lines?

Jack, your attempted deflection is worthy of political office. Although "worthy" may not be the right word in such a context.

Regarding predictions, I am reminded that those who attempt to predict football outcomes have never dribbled a ball in their lives. But I promise to beak precedent and gloat afterwards, should that opportunity present itself.

Harvard over Cornell 28-14 Harvard playing below par but still has more horses.

Yale over Dartmouth 24-21 Yale is coming around and at home I give them a 3 point edge

Brown over URI 31-28 URI is a good team with more talent but the bears are coming out of hibernation and won't want to lose this game.

Ivy league teams win the remaining games

Dartmouth has a very good team this year. I think Yale vs. Dartmouth will be close due to the game being played on grass at the Bowl. The Bulldogs have a strong running game and Rawlings is getting hot passing. The Yale Bowl is a tough place for any opponent, just ask Maine who beat FBS Western Kentucky and played Central Michigan tough.

My daughter and I are coming. It was a struggle but she finally agreed to split the 10 dollar parking cost. Does your WPLR tent have anything other than beer or do we need to head to the inevitable bountiful Dartmouth Parents tailgate in Lot C before we head over to your Kavanaugh beer fueled typical Yale tailgate

Anyway I will probably be wearing a Next Title 19 hat accompanied by my beautiful blonde haired highly educated but still idealistic non profit working daughter. So who are you

Holtsie, do you really think you can keep up with a Yale tailgate?

Haven't you been watching the news over the past week?
