In reply to: Ted 's message, "Coen has a short memory" on 17:18:55 10/10/18 Wed

The Ivy League appeal to recruits (both academically, facilities and financial aid) along with Penns liberal approach to transfers were huge in Coens success as Penns OC. Back to back 1A transfer QBs set records at Penn and Coens stock skyrocketed after being passed up for Lehigh job once. The very things he is complaining about were a huge part of reason he got the Lehigh job. Maybe Gleason is getting primed to take over at Lehigh next.

Interesting perspective. I would probably disagree on the premise, but also the facts seem wrong. Who were the two QB transfers? Hoffman and who else?

You might want to learn something about Ivy history besides the years of Dartmouth's last two championships.

(Relax Annex -- just having fun).

It is you who needs the history lesson. :)

Matt Rader's last season was 1998. Coen joined Penn in 2000. So he did not build his reputation on two transfer QBs.

Like old copper, go green.

The Ivy League appeal to recruits (both academically, facilities and financial aid) along with Penns liberal approach to transfers were huge in Coens success as Penns OC. Back to back 1A transfers at QB and RB all helped set records at Penn and Coens stock skyrocketed after being passed up for Lehigh job once.

The very things he is complaining about were a huge part of reason he got the Lehigh job.
