I believe it's integral part of winning the conference title a team must have a top 3 conference scoring defense. Quakers defence is averaging 20 ppg- that's impressive for the super sonic shot gun era. The offense is horrendous. The Bison game the offense featured vertical passing and a few(not a lot) QB keepers from the freeze - option play.

After that game they deviated from downfield passing and QB runs. Our QB situation is similar to the Denver Broncos and it started around the same time.

Had this season's OOC wasn't so weak this team would be 0-9.
The redundant excessive short passes is not generating any results. Next season I hope Pennsylvania will take "the training wheels" off QB Sayin and stop putting the offense on "cruise control" Its stale and insufficient .

Next week I hope Pennsylvania goes full throttle and plays in kamikaze mind set. This is the final time some of our students will be on the ground iron, let's make it a memorable one. For the underclassmen throw everything you got and see was sticks. The Quakers might find a diamond in the rough that can be used next year.

Pennsylvania needs to recognize in order to return to the top they must utilize a duel skilled QB just as they once did with Alek Torgorsen and Billy Ragone.
If the Big Red can obtain QB's Jameson Wang and Ed Marinaro, jr- why can't we ?

That's expected from our friends at Dartmouth. If they take care of Brown then the Pennsylvania - Princeton game will be obsolete.

This year has been terrible. Very disappointing. And with all the senior starters it will be a rebuilding year next year. The fact that we have not seen the younger players on offense this year speaks to larger problems with the program. This year Penn fans are disappointed and left with little hope for next season.

Next year if the offense is not corrected and fully utilized we'll finish 1-9. The only win coming against Brown. If it wasn't for this year's weak OCC the Quakers would be 1-8.That means Penn is worse than advertised.

No matter how bad Penn gets,as long as David Archer is coach at Cornell you can pretty much pencil a W in the scorecard. He posted his first win against Penn since 2013. A terrible blunder bowl of a game. You will always finish 5th or 6 th in league play with Brown and Cornell in the league.

Pretty sure there were 5 Freshman on offense on the field against Harvard...1 QB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 OT....I think that would constitute "seeing the younger players on offense"...no?

Agreed.....but it took too long. In hindsight wouldn't you agree this should have happened earlier in the season? Perhaps even week 1? Also, there are other young players that should be playing. Saturday will very likely be another loss. Why not give the seniors their curtain call and mix in more young guys as the game goes on.
