I’ll take the success in St. Louis or for that matter Atlanta ,Denver or Phoenix over losing in New York. Moral victories in sports are for losers. Just ask any highly competitive athlete or coach. Grin and Bear It, did you play sports at a highly competitive level?

Red Ivy, you missed my point. I wasn't talking about moral victories, I was talking about preparing for tougher competition. Inevitably you will play to your level of competition. But if you want to be the best, you have to play the best. Playing the best creates a sharpness that gives the participant the edge.

To answer your question. Yes, I was an all ivy performer many years ago.
