I'm a little surprised to see Emge graduate and move on, in that he would have such a nice situation at Harvard in 2022, if he had chosen to return. Starting quarterback on a championship contender with a lot of pieces around him. I wonder if he's starting his professional career or trying to catch on with a low level FBS team.

Shampklin I can imagine being eager to graduate and try his luck at the big time. He would be a legitimate contender for a mid-level FBS starting role. I would love to see him in the Big Ten or Pac 12 next fall. He would be a great ambassador for our conference.

Wymberley seems closer to Emge, but who knows? Maybe Emge is leaving because Shamplkin and Wymberley are gone. He's still got Borguet coming back.

Harvard has rising #1 Junior QB Charlie Dean returning. Don't believe he played a minute after an injury in Princeton game.
Emge was an nice replacement, but he may be content just to have the Yale game as a lifetime memory.

Before he was injured, Dean looked like the real deal.

According to a friend who is the football correspondent for the alumni mag, Emge is going to medical school.

Shampklin [from CA] is headed to the PAC-12; it may be that the new school asked him to stay mum on this until after national recruit signing day, I believe in December.

No additional info on Wimberly.

Unfortunately, to date, I haven't been able to find any portal information on ex-FCS players (ANY conference) that are freely available aside from individual, scattered reports.

Also, today, I tried finding Shampklin in the 247Sports portal and it's still negative at this time.

Did you miss out on Khalid Thomas? He moved on to SoCon member Samford, per their ESD 2021 release.
