Brown has filled its First Assistant Wrestling position with former two time National Champion Jesse Delgata.
He was a wonderful wrestler; now if he can Coach.
The room has to be better for his presence. This is a super workout partner with a different style.

Bringing in a coach of Jesse's stature (well, he is kind of short, but I meant the other kind) is exactly what Brown wrestling needs. When a recruit is being approached by a former national champion, he is going to listen. And in many cases, he is going to follow. All outstanding high school wrestlers dream about being a national champion, such is the nature of wrestling. And when you have a national champion asking you to join his team, the dream becomes a lot more real. Yes, Jesse, even if he can't coach, is just what the program needed. Heretofore Brown lacked the dream weavers but with the addition of Jesse and TJ Dudley, they now have them. And in short order, I expect the recruiting to improve. By the way, it is real nice to see the administration supporting wrestling to the degree it has. It was not too long ago that wrestling was on the chopping block, but now it is looking so much brighter.

Brown Wrestling is benefitted by an enormously dedicated Alumni whose support and generosity is admirable..
The sport in the six Ivies having it is excellent, lead by Cornell with constant National ranking.
