I am hearing similar reports of a jumbo-sized group of 2023 recruits.
There have been several sightings of James Perry and William Edwards (RB coach) at Florida high schools ... calling on HS coaches and recruits.
A heavy emphasis on Junior Day Camp, with selective invites to allow more player/coach focus.
Brown has upgraded their recruiting software--both target contacts and outreach tools--essential in the new world of sourcing players.
All a good sign of renewed effort around attracting talent (size and athleticism) that can compete at the top of the league.
Obviously, the defensive side of the ball needs the biggest upgrade.

… and, as always, we will see how they perform on Saturdays.

IMO, Perry needs a few more seasons to be fairly judged. He and the other HCs will have 12 less recruits over the next 4 years, it seems. That probably is slightly more of a challenge for a rebuilding program, although returnees due to COVID year can mitigate that. Its just that the HC does not control who decides to return and thus where he might have put those 12 recruits.

Thanks Bengal
I agree. Brown is in a similar position as the Tigers that Bob Surace inherited. It will take time to attract talent capable of competing in the modern IL. And none of the other seven teams are going to slow down their efforts to improve.

I remain confident that James is the guy to lead this turnaround.

Good news for Brown, the offense is very good--even with EJ moving on. Defense--cannot get any worse.

Looking forward to 2022!
