This is not good for the players, the school, or the league. Engles just seems lost to me.My late mother-in-law used to say that your first loss is your cheapest. So we should cut our losses now, give Carberry a chance to audition for the job, and be done with it. If we learned anything from the Mangurian fiasco it really is true that the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting a different result.

... the Dartmouth women get this year.

Koclanes really left the cupboard bare. Small wonder that she bolted when it became apparent that Sheehy was on shaky ground.

Koclanes was pretty much Dartmouth's Dave Archer. Really nice human being, but probably not the person who is going to lead the program back to glory...

Speaking of which, is Archer staying? I know that Dartmouth let John Lyons go the Monday or Tuesday after Thanksgiving back in 2004. I always assumed that Dartmouth wanted to let him enjoy the holiday.

If Cornell is going to extend that courtesy to Archer for the entire holiday season... I think that's a bit much.

So Koclanes is like Dartmouth's answer to David Archer (you write as if you actually know the man.) And Al Bagnoli is like Columbia's version of Bob Blackman.... What other wonderful simile's can you push forward, from out of that ever creative mind of yours?
