In your usual effort to marginalize Brown commits you disregard his Harvard visit. A visit, and in his case actual, is an invitation by a sport to come to campus, stay and be encouraged to be a desired recruit eventually to commit.
Marco also visited Brown.
That Monmouth was the school that played Princeton last fall.

A couple of months ago, Dartmouth had an early recruit who had visited most Ivies. Indeed, his father played for Harvard.

I posited that some of those visits would eventually become offers given how early it was in the recruiting cycle. Many disagreed with me--some rather quite vehemently.

We will see if those folks show up here again.

Difference rests in whether the visit is at the invitation of the coaching staff or a volitional trip where the athlete stops at the offices of the sport announcing himself or herself?
Some voluntary visits are actually made by athletes who may eventually be invited for an official visit the athlete being limited to five of these.
The Ivies as Green implies receive many more voluntary visits than any others
In the top 25 group type, Unless invited by the sport these voluntary visits are not debited against the five.

That visits to schools and offers from schools were two separate things. Otherwise, his multiple posts about Brown and (for example) Howard would have been redundant.

It's certainly possible that Harvard offered him and he just didn't say the "o" word in his Harvard tweet. But given that he was explicit about getting offers from the other schools, I think that's unlikely.

In any event, he clearly did have a number of offers. He has nothing to apologize for. If you really care about my opinion that much, I fully acknowledge that he is a nice get for Brown and we will see if he can play at the next level.
