The elder McDonald (Old McDonald?) was about 6'6'' and 280 (give or take). That was big in those days.

He was also very quick and athletic for a guy his size. He was a very good player.

I am happy with both the effort and results so far from Coach Perry's program.

It seems like all the IL schools are doing well this cycle.

As always, it will take a few seasons to see how they game-up.

I do agree that Brown's current recruiting class seems better than Perry's first two recruiting classes--both of which seemed full of guys whose best and/or only offer was Brown.

Thus far, I am not impressed with Dartmouth's class. I get that the coaching staff has earned the benefit of the doubt. But quite a few of our impact players from 2021 were guys who had FBS offers.

Still plenty of time to go, though.

Go Go
The buzz from FL HS coaches is that the Dartmouth and Brown coaches are ... everywhere. That includes both McCorkle and Buddy who did school and home visits during the direct-contact window.

I am sure other schools are working this area hard, but those schools have created noise.

Also, the phones are ringing in New England, as some good talent got left out of the earlysigning day offers--and the mysterious Transfer Portal has been very negatively impactful on HS seniors (esp. QBs) ... as many schools are more willing to take an older QB from a good player development team.
