Congratulations to Penn Olympians. Matt Fallon who won in the Mens200 meter breaststroke in Indy and Mia Akins who won the Womens 800 meter race in Eugene last night.
When was the last time two individual athletes won their trials to qualify for the Olympics?

Wow that is so cool and great for the Ivy League. Just amazing what incredible shape these athletes are in. They both motivated me to go to the fitness center after work today. Best of luck to Matt and Nia in Paris!

It’s great to see Ivy alums well represented on the world biggest athletics stage. Athletic talent and intellectual depth is a hard combo to beat.
According to the IOC it’s up to each individual sport to determine transgender eligibility. I don’t know where any of the Olympic sports stand on this issue.
