Have you noticed in recent history Ivy alums NFL careers go in to opposite directions? There’s Brandon Copeland , Ryan Fitzpatrick, James Develin, Kyle Juszczyk and Greg Van Roten that had long lasting careers. Then there’s E.J. Perry, Alek Torgersen and John Lovett who’s stint in the NFL was so brief it’s only noticeable by their school alumni.

I won't go back and check the data, but I'm reasonably confident that in any era, you will find Ivy guys who were cut a few weeks after reporting to camp, as well as Ivy guys who were enjoying successful NFL careers.

I agree with the theme "you can never tell how things work out in the NFL"

Michael Hoecht from Brown is entering his 5th season with the LA Rams. He is currently a starter at OLB, having moved from DT in college and his first two years backing-up All Pro Aaron Donald.
