Any word on whether Agel will continue to run the Princeton Offense? I presume that he had no experience with it until Robinson brought him to Brown.

Agel will run the Brown Offense. There is no such thing as the "Princeton Offense" except the one that Johnson is currently using. Robinson used things he learned from Carill and Carmody, but he didn't run the Princeton Offense any more than JTIII does. I suspect Agel will incorpotate things that worked at Vermont along with some Robinson influences. There once was a Carill Offense which was quite successful. The Scott Offense at Princeton, not so much. Miller was seen running some "Princeton Sets" last year but nobody accused him of running the "Princeton Offense". Enough already!

Oh, excuse me. Do you think that Agel will continue to run an offense that is based upon a high-post center, with the other four players setting picks for each other along the three-point line, featuring many three-point shots and backdoor cuts to the basket but very few low-post plays?

What is behind the virulent objection to a name that many basketball fans associate with such an offense? Nobody is saying that Craig Robinson did not have his own take on the playbook, in the same way any other coach would have his own manifestation of principles that he learned from his mentor.

By the way, John Thompson III is getting great results with The Brown Offense down at Georgetown.

JTIII was very observant in his years as a Priceton player and coach. He obviously paid attention on his visits to Providence's East Side.
