MORE 2ND AMENDMENT
Let's look at the Constitution as it was intended. The Articles defined the formation of the government and how it is 'supposed' to be limited and restricted. The Bill of Rights are called amendments but they are in reality, proclamations regarding the unalienable Rights of the people, and the Command that government SHALL NOT INFRINGE UPON THOSE RIGHTS. The Ninth and Tenth 'proclamation' denies the government any and all implied powers.
The second amendment is twofold. It states that a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, AND, AND , AND, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!
When parse is taken into consideration, the commas separate and designate the fact that the Militia and the people have the inalienable Right to keep and bear Arms. The NRA doesn't seem to recognize that fact. Very few of the defenders of the Right to keep and bear Arms seem to recognize that fact.
The most important fact is that the people and the Militia do not need nor require permission from government to keep and bear Arms.
The best defense of the nation is not a bureaucratic agency called Homeland Security, it is the Right of the people to keep and bear Arms!
Assuming that the united States of America still has a Constitution and a Bill of Rights, then those citizens of the States that do not want to possess a weapon have that unalienable Right, however, please keep your mouth shut where my Right to keep and bear Arms is concerned!
