Author: Marco, Switzerland [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 06:07:39 03/18/03 Tue Bush tried to get allies for his texan petrol interest war but as it looks he won't succeed because the majority of the countries within the UN are more reasonable and do not think that thousands of civil casualties are an acceptable price to get access to the iraqi oil fields and a firmer grip on the arabian world. His only merit is that with the US army in the region, the UN inspectors now prove to be able to work efficiently. As he now decides to attack even without approval by the UN, he is not better than any dictator. Attacking a country because he doesn't like Saddam and he wants access to it's oil sources is certainly not enough. The "proves" Bush and Powell presented are fake according to a BBC report. Iraq cooperates sufficiently with the UN weapon inspectors and their acitivities are starting to show effect, even if backed up by the presence of the US army in the region. Who needs a war with thousands of innocent Iraqis dying for oil? Remember, the US have more mass destruction arms than anybody else and not everybody agrees with the Bus administration or the american way of life... not only good things come from the US, think of the criminal rate in your country even among juveniles, the poor and inhuman social system causing homeless people like nowhere else in the western world, the death penalty, racism and all the junk you flood us with (from fast food to porn and horror movies). Who stops that moron? I am disappointed about the american people who according to polls are against a war in Iraq. Why don't you demonstrate massively? Why don't you do general strikes? Do you really want a second Vietnam? Do you really want to involve the rest of the world with massive economic and probably more terroristic consequences? If so, Bush's place in history along with people like Hitler is for sure. Show the rest of the world that the Americans are a truly democratic breed! Stand up against Bush.
