While Colin and Mei Ling are submitting the paperwork for their marriage, the registry office clerk asks for their respective birth dates. Reluctant to reveal her exact age, Mei Ling replies that they are both in their twenties. Colin adds that they share the same birthday, but that he was four times as old as Mei Ling was when he was three times as old as Mei Ling was when he was twice as old as Mei Ling was. Can you work out the couple's ages for the clerk?
