In fact, as far as I know there is no prophecy in the Old Testament which specifies a 3-day rise time for the Messiah. In the Gospels Matthew and Paul both say there is, but fact is, they were wrong.

As Quittner writes, above, the Gospels were written from 20 to 200 years after Jesus was gone, by men with a big stake in justifying His divinity. Matthew in particular pored over the Old Testament for any verses or fragments of verses which could be interpreted to somehow pertain to Jesus. And as a last resort the Apostles could alway change their story slightly to make it align with the verses they could find.

What I want to see is real-world, verifiable experiments showing that God exists in the real world and not just in your imagination.
