some stuff you said was really really wrong john.

I don't see how you can say that "all species are uniquly designed to benefit one another" when the human population has succeeded in destroying millions of acres of trees (that were once homes of many other millions of creatures which are probably dead by now...some could've still lived if we didn't exist), polluting the air (global warming...we're screwing up the weather patterns...forcing other animals to change their migration/living patterns), mucking up the ocean (oil...trash...plastic bits are found in almost every jellyfish out there...there are more plastic bits in the ocean than plankton i think), DESTROYING entire habitats, poaching, domesticating animals, killing off entire species (i.e. buffalo, pandas (almost...eventually), birdies, etc.), erosion, AND believing that it's in our nature to do these things so it's perfectly normal and it's not our fault all because god lets us!

Sally says, "god loves people better...he created us in his image! we can think animals can't so why can't we rule the earth?"

Grrr...and animals have feelings too! Take swans for instance. They only take one...that's ONE mate for LIFE! Tell a few of the millions of cheating boogers out there in our society to do that, and she/he'll say "NO!" Animals can love as much as people do. You're judging their level of intelligence by their different appearences and that's not fair. Ask pet lovers if they've ever seen their animals mourn over the death of a loved one. Yes, it can happen john. Just because you can't see other animals express their feelings in the same way people do, doesn't mean they don't have feelings.

And...why would other animals need laws?..um...okay...the human population NEEDING laws kinda shows that we can't control ourselves, doesn't it? we sometimes get so mean and stupid that laws are required to straighten things out. You should respect the other animals man.

The way I see it, your kind of love only reaches for people...despite the fact that we depend on other animals to survive (taking/destroying their lives/lifestyles) and must preserve them.
