I'm a Christian and I want others to understand that yes you must have faith to believe in anything, including becoming an athiest. I say this because an athiest is forced to believe in many things just by saying that they believe that there is no God and religion in all forms are corrupt. They are forced to believe that they evolved to where they are today. They have believe that essentially they are the god of their own life. Infact they have to beleive in so many things that they have to have a certain degree of faith, I have to admit much more than I. So where can a person draw the line. An athiest believes they can draw the line anywhere they want to. This brings about many questions.
Where did everything come from?
How should I act while I am alive?
Where do I go when I die?
An athiest has to believe that by some mere chance the Earth was placed in such a corect position to sustain life from a "Big Bang" This still does not answer where matter came from. Where the energy that fromed the planets and us came from. The laws that govern us, graivity, inertia, ect. Where did time come from? How come we are evolving into more complex beings when a tobacco plant has more cromosmes than us. They answer this with a common phrase that it took so much time that we coudn't have seen it happen. Time doesn't compute things when you don't have a beginging. The god of an athiest is really time. It is quite a peacful thing to believe that there is no hell and that they can live their lives as they chose. If you have any more question I will be happy to answer them as I don't have the time or space to reply to many questions. Josh
