Actually, though there is a socialist/communist faction of anarchists, many libertarians are also anarchists. I've also found that many libertarians who consider themselves minarchists would be considered anarchists by most "mid-stream" libertarian minarchists.

It seems to depend upon where you believe society's power base should lie. If you believe government should be confined to the local community, technically you still believe in government, but you may well be considered an anarchist by those who believe in "more" government, or, gods forbid, centralized government.

BTW, I've seen that there is a group that calls itself Socialist Libertarians. Eeee Gads!! GF
