Inland Knights & Lo\rez Gutterfunk launches at Medicine, London Friday 27th August 2004 Gutterfunk launch their first in a series of monthly parties at Medicine on Friday 27th August to kick start the summer bank holiday weekend, which is, without doubt the best party weekend on the UK calendar. For these parties Foot Therapy take on the role of hosts and residents taking the Gutterfunk faithful and new folk on a remarkable journey through the best of finely tweaked deep and underground house music. For the launch party Gutterfunk are very pleased to welcome very special guests Inland Knights and lo\rez to join residents Foot Therapy and ensure that the launch party at Medicine is definitely one not to be missed! Nottingham based Inland Knights have been devoted to producing quality house music through their own Drop Music label for many years. Their blend of jazz and funk, dynamic percussion and vocal hooks has been instrumental in catapulting the Inland Knights to international popularity. As enthusiastic about DJ'ing as studio production the duo have maintained a relentless international touring agenda since their collaboration began in 1998. Gutterfunk are pleased to be able to prise them away from their busy schedule for a rare appearance in London. It is also a great pleasure to welcome another duo, lo\rez for their debut at Gutterfunk. The London-based producers have been working together under the name lo\rez since 1999 having produced a string of successful EP's on Hi-Phen, Totem and Tak Records. They also have a new EP due for release on leading French label Brique Rouge over the coming months. Come and check these guys out as they find time to break from their studio commitments and European DJ dates to make their first appearance at Gutterfunk. All in all this party is one that will be remembered for some time, so make sure you are a part of it!
