Ok, i was hoping to get your guy's opinion on the 2005-2006 Regular season favorites and line up.
Im thinking UMKC put up good numbers last year, but lost thier Big man, and firepower. Oakland has a talented incoming class, but all thier experience left with the school year. WIU is going to be better, as is SUU.

Okay, im with you on ORU, but i think Valpo is ready to regain some momentum after last year. I also think that regardless off Oakland losing thier firepower, there trip to the dance has attracted seious mid-major talent that will be first year contributors, a ken tutt and caleb green of sorts. Western Illinois is bosting the 60th best recruting class in the nation and thier coach appears to be more comfortable lately and Chicago state lost thier *Big Man* to the draft (was not selected...so unless Centenary steps out real soon (i think its too late) Chicago state may be the loser this year.

Well you guys must have forgot about SDSU amd that we'll probably be part of your conference in about a week. With that in mind (and we can't compete in post-season play) i say SDSU shocks the league.

First off, thier is no way SDSU is going to be in the mid-con, i think it is too late. Besides, even if they did...even chicago state and Centenary would stomp all over thier DII program...so i will make my list and includ SDSU

oh, by the way, that single win for SDSU will come on a home game over Centenary on a running deperation shot from half court at the buzzer in triple OT. final score CC 30 SDSU 31
with the low score not a product of good D, but of a sub 20% shooting.
I wouldn't be so bold as to predict that SDSU would win the Mid-Con this season (if we were in the conference), but don't kid yourself SDSU would be very competitive. UMKC is coming to Frost Arena on Dec. 12th, I guess we will see. I will say it is good to see some activity on the SUU board, keep it up. See you guys up in Brookings Nov. 5th for football.
