Subject: Sherry new women's soccer coach?

Kevin Sherry was in town yesterday as part of the interview process to fill the vacant women's head soccer coach position. From what I have gathered, I look for him to be announced as the new coach as early as this weekend. He has been at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, but his resume is pretty impressive with stops around the world. He would appear to have the inside track.

Look for an announcement early next week naming Kevin Sherry as the new women's soccer coach at Western Ilinois.

Wonder if they gave him any type of timeline regarding permanent seating and pressbox at the soccer field.......Would imagine that is somewhere close to next on the list. I am figuring that the next humungo "capital" campaign will include Hanson Field renovation!!!! Where are the bulldozers to rip down the block house bathroom and seats at Vince Grady. Time to build the stadium!!!

Last word I received regarding Vince Grady renovation was that it was to begin around August 1. I'll try and find out if that has changed.
