Subject: Shoyuld Western get new football jersey's?

What do you think? Seems these have been around for years. The helmets are not likely to change- what with the logo on them. Should WIU go to a more modern look, or, stick with the trditional.Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing them updated somewhat, but keep Western across the front.

No, I like the traditional look. I would not mind seeing the bright yellow on the helmet logo changed to an old gold to match the stripes on the sleeves and W on pants. I do like the Gold pants(discont. late 90's) with the home jerseys better and purple with away as far as a styled look goes but I have to admit, the all purple looks pretty tough.

As you may have noticed, many schools are now putting their names across the fronts of jerseys, this seems to be very common now. But schools like Oklahoma, OK State, Texas and WIU(just to name a few) have been doing it for years.

If it ain't broke, Don't fix it.

I agree on the helmet logo- darker gold would be better. Wouldn't mind seeing some type of stripes on the legs.
