Interesting reading. However, the Missouri Valley nor the Horizon I don't believe would be interested in new DI schools. Their RPI keeps improving, and why add untested schools. Also, the Dakota schools have some limitations- lack of large poulation basis for media exposure, remoteness, and a general lack of exposure.

The East/West addition to the Mid-Con looks OK. However, if they only plan to join the Mid-Con to leave-then why add them. I think it's fan hyperbole.

I don't know about Northern Colorado- seems to fit the above mentioned.

I think if the MVC ever expands, Oral Roberts, Western Illinois or even UMKC would be possible-but, even this is doubtfull. Valpo has insinuated the Horizon would be a good fit for them.

I like the Dakota schools, but it takes time to compete every year as a DI in a well rounded conference.

There was a lot of interesting speculation; having to go out west every other year instead of every year by adding three western teams is intriguing. Then we could call the conference the Whole-Continent.
